Job description

A skilled long-term care facility located in Center, Missouri, has an opportunity for an experienced HR/BOM Manager. This facility is looking for an energetic, results orientated team leader with superior interpersonal and communication skills to take charge of staffing and re-energizing the facility. This position will report to the Administrator and works under the guidance of the management company human resources department. Must have experience in HR and Business Office. The successful candidate must be a team player and lead by example in how to create and function in a team environment. Since the facility operates 24/7 occasional off-shift, holiday and weekend activity will be necessary.

Duties Include (but are not limited to)

  • Recruitment and Employment process
  • Facilitate Safety Meetings
  • Payroll administration
  • Worker's compensation and OSHA compliance
  • Merit review process and personnel file maintenance

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in human capital management and employee relations
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS and benefits administration
  • Familiarity with employment and labor laws, including FMLA
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage talent acquisition and performance management processes
  • Experience with data analysis and process improvement in HR functions
  • Proficiency in using HR software
