About the Opportunity
Veterans Engineering (VE) is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians OR Internal Medicine/Family Practice Physicians with current ER experience to support the Memphis VA Medical Center. This is an excellent long-term opportunity to serve our Veterans while working in a stable federal environment.

Location: Memphis VAMC – Memphis, TN
Contract: 5-Year Contract (Base Year: with extensions)
Start: ASAP

Schedule & Shifts

• 10–12 hour shifts (days, nights, swing)

• Weekly shift options:

  • Mon–Fri: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

  • Sun–Sat: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• No call requirements

• Workload: ~1–2 patients per hour

• Patient Population: Adults only

• Case Types: General emergency cases (major trauma, heart attacks, strokes routed or stabilized and transferred to local hospitals)

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible (Emergency Medicine OR Internal Medicine/Family Practice with ER experience)

• Any active U.S. state medical license accepted

• BLS & ACLS (current)

• DEA license

• U.S. Citizen

• EMR: CPRS

Credentialing

• Average timeframe: 4–6 weeks
