Billing Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our home care team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing and coding, ensuring accurate and timely submission of medical claims.

Some of your Responsibilities will include:

- Review and verify accuracy of billing and coding

-Must be familiar with CRCT, training will be provided

- Submit claims to companies

- Follow up on unpaid claims

- Process payments from insurance companies and patients

- Maintain patient billing records

- Utilize medical billing software to input data accurately

- Stay updated on industry changes and compliance regulations

- Additional office related tasks

 Qualifications

- Some Proficiency in ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG, and medical coding

- Experience working in a medical office setting

- Knowledge of medical terminology and collection procedures

- Familiarity with medical records systems

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
