Assistant Director of Partner Relations
Salary range $55,000 - $73,000 per year. Salary is determined based on experience.
The Assistant Director of Partner Relations is responsible for supporting the collaboration and coordination efforts of the Partner Relations team across all three service areas to enhance outcomes for victims of child abuse. This role directly supervises MDT Coordinators and Intake Specialists, providing guidance, support, and performance management. This role ensures consistency in workflow, data management, and case review.
Essential Functions
- Provide supervision to MDT Coordinators and MDT Intake Specialists, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
- Assist with oversight of the professional growth and development of PR staff
- Assist Director of Partner Relations with team building of staff
- Travel to all three service areas as needed to provide in-person supervision, case review facilitation, meetings, and agency events.
- Ensure accurate and timely data input across all service areas, maintaining compliance with agency standards and grant requirements.
- Assist the Director of Partner Relations in identifying trends in data and case outcomes to inform decision-making and program improvements.
- Track and improve Breadth and Depth percentages for cases that meet criteria.
- Supports the Director of Partner Relations in developing, strengthening, and overseeing the agency’s relationship with partner agencies.
- Timely onboarding and offboarding of partner agency staff
- Facilitate case reviews, ensuring all partner agencies are engaged in a collaborative approach.
- Assist the Director of Partner Relations in developing reports and presentations.
- Assist Director of Partner Relations in managing departmental budget.
- Chair the Denton County Child Fatality Review Team, coordinating meetings, agenda development, and partner engagement. Facilitate discussions with community stakeholders to improve policies and responses related to child fatalities.
- Ensure all activities and services provided by the Partner Relations department comply with CAC protocols and accrediting standards.
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in child abuse awareness month, MDT retreat, and holiday events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Travel
- Travel between the three company locations is required. Travel out-of-the-area, overnight stays are periodically required.
Education and Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or Criminal Justice required.
Experience
- 2 years of related experience with a graduate degree or 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree in multidisciplinary team coordination, advocacy, program management, and stakeholder engagement within a child welfare or victim services field.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience, preferred
- 3 years working collaboratively with DFPS and/or law enforcement
