Role Overview
Beverage Operations Consultant
Your 3rd Spot seeks an experienced Beverage Operations Consultant to optimize and elevate our beverage operations in Atlanta, GA. This is an on-site contract position with defined project goals, emphasizing operational quality, speed, and consistency, as well as cost-effective solutions in beverage management.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence: Implement best practices to drive quality, consistency, and speed of service, blending them with cost control strategies. Ensure that every aspect of the bar operation— from preparation to guest service—runs smoothly and efficiently.
Menu Development: Conduct Product Mix (PMIX) analysis to identify and enhance menu items that reinforce Y3S’s top-tier brand status. Collaborate on seasonal and specialty drink offerings that reflect emerging trends and guest preferences.
Recipe & Specification Development: Lead recipe creation, testing, and costing of all beverages. Develop detailed specs and training materials for each item, ensuring consistent preparation, presentation, and service standards.
Training & Documentation: Design comprehensive training modules and manuals to support sustainable beverage operations after project completion, empowering the Y3S team with knowledge and skills for continued excellence.
Night-time & Closing Availability: Work evening shifts and remain on-site through closing hours to fully assess operational flow and service quality.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in high-volume restaurant or hospitality settings, with demonstrated expertise in beverage operations, recipe development, and cost management. Or 5 years in a senior beverage manager role.
Analytical Skills: Proficient in menu analysis and cost control, using data to guide strategic recommendations and optimize the beverage program.
Communication & Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills to work closely with staff, provide feedback, and foster a team-oriented culture.
Adaptability & Industry Knowledge: Current on industry trends and regulations, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
