Behavioral Health Implementation Specialist:

Behavioral Health Implementation Specialist: 

The Behavioral Health Implementation Specialist will act as a key liaison between our clients and all relevant stakeholders, ensuring the successful execution of projects that align with our clients' behavioral health needs. This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to foster relationships, and a deep understanding of behavioral health services. In this role you will be leading projects that encompass all phases of project management and rollout; requirements gathering, implementation planning, and training & delivery. This includes project kickoff, scheduling, coordination of resources, change management, working directly with customers and third-party vendors for status updates, and account management for all implementation services.  In addition to project management duties, having the ability to understand and facilitate “deep dive review” of behavioral health clinical workflows and clinical forms review is essential. We are looking for self motivated, energetic individuals with a positive attitude who can collaborate with customers, take ownership, and deliver results.


Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Successfully manage relationships as liaison with client and all stakeholders

  • Coordinate internal resources, third-party vendors (if applicable) for the seamless execution of projects

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within all defined contractual terms

  • Collect and analyze project specific requirements

  • Develop detailed project plan, monitor and track progress to ensure timely payments

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Manage changes to the project scope, milestones, timeline, and provide updates

  • Collaborate with development team to prioritize and deliver customer specific features

  • Report and escalate to management as appropriate

  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and third-party vendors

  • Perform Behavioral Health clinical forms review and workflow optimization.

  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation

  • Work closely with other team members and cross departmentally


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 2-5 years of experience as project manager, or equivalent role with EHR or Practice Management products

  • Clinical and/or healthcare industry experience (from ambulatory setting or from EHR/Healthcare IT projects)

  • Experience leading IT, clinical IT, or Healthcare IT projects

  • Understanding of clinical workflow

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in project management tools and software.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
