Bavarian Blast Safety and Security Attendant

Hours:  Full Time - 4-5 Days a week; earliest shift start time 9:45am, latest shift end time 9:00 pm.   

Must be available to work a variety of shifts.

Must be available to work a weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings and some holidays

The Bag Check & Safety Desk Attendant is a front-line team member assigned exclusively to the Bavarian Blast indoor waterpark at the Bavarian Inn Lodge. This position plays a key role in ensuring a safe and welcoming entry process for all guests. Responsibilities include screening guest bags for prohibited items—such as outside food, beverages, glass, and weapons—and issuing wristbands based on height measurements. Attendants also staff the safety desk, where they answer guest questions, provide general information, and offer basic assistance such as minor first aid supplies. This position supports the daily operations of the waterpark and works closely with the Aquatics Management team to uphold park guidelines and deliver friendly, guest-focused service.

Required Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 Years or older 

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

 Previous customer service or hospitality experience is a plus.

Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in a security or safety-related role.

First Aid and CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain the Lodge).

Any safety or security-related certifications are a plus but not required.

Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.

Ability to walk the waterpark and perform light cleaning tasks (e.g., trash pulls, wiping down surfaces).

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (e.g., handling supplies, small bags, or other light equipment).

Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including hot or humid environments.

Professional demeanor and appearance.

Ability to stay calm under pressure or in busy environment

Friendly, approachable and proactive attitude towards assisting guests and team members.
