Bath Aide
🏥 Job Title: Bath Aide (Shower/Personal Hygiene Aide)
Location: Rivertown Ridge
Schedule: Part Time
As a Bath Aide, you’ll provide safe, respectful, and compassionate bathing and grooming assistance to residents in our senior living community. You’ll work under the supervision of a Director of Nursing to ensure each resident’s personal care is delivered with dignity and professionalism — fostering comfort, safety, and wellbeing.
âś… Key Responsibilities-
Assist residents with showers, baths, and bed baths—preparing equipment, transferring residents, and ensuring proper drying and dressingÂ

Support grooming tasks, such as shaving, shampooing, nail care, and oral hygieneÂ

Observe residents for skin issues, mobility concerns, or other health changes and report to nursing staffÂ

Clean and disinfect bathing areas, whirlpool chairs, and rooms per protocol between usesÂ
-
Weigh residents and record accurately per scheduleÂ

Maintain resident confidentiality and follow HIPAA and infection-control practicesÂ

Provide assistance with toileting, dressing, mobility, and light housekeeping as needed.

High school diploma or GED preferredÂ

CPR certification preferred

Ability to push, pull, lift/move residents (up to ~35 lbs) and stand for long periodsÂ

Typically day shifts (e.g., early morning–afternoon).

Fast-paced and physically demanding—regular exposure to water, soap, creams.

Pay Range: $17+ depending on experience
