BAS Controls Technician

Star Service of New Orleans is looking to add a BAS Controls Technician to our growing team! Star is the leading HVAC service provider throughout the entire Gulf Coast and offers full-service installation, maintenance, and repair of Building Automation Systems. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Design installation, programming, and commissioning of control systems
• Troubleshooting control systems 
• Makes recommendations to customers on products and services 
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with customers
• Operate in a highly ethical manner 
• Other duties as assigned 

Our Ideal Candidate has: 

• 5+ years of experience designing, installing, programming, and commissioning Building Automation Systems
• familiarity with one or more of the following Building Automation Systems: Johnson Controls (preferred), Schneider Electric, Siemens, Trane, or Daikin
• Familiarity with BACnet, LonWorks, and/or Modbus communication protocols 
• A team player mentality and strong ability to problem-solve
