Lounge/Biergarten Server
HOURS:
a. PART TIME: average of 25-36 hours per week, 4-5 days.
b. May work combination of hours between 3:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m. and variety of shifts between these hours.
c. Weekdays, weekends and holidays are required.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for setting up and preparation of all bar areas including the Lounge, River Rooms, Composer Rooms, and seasonally in the Schnitzelbank Biergarten. Responsible for serving food/drinks and collecting payment. Attend monthly department meetings. Maintaining and cleaning the bar areas and equipment to preserve equipment. Responsible to assist with achieving department and sales goals by making suggestions and helping with menu selections. Follows all the Food Health Department rules and State Liquor Laws.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent. Must be eighteen years of age. Pleasing personality and appearance and smiling is a must. Minimum six months experience in this position to attain knowledge of procedures and areas. Ability to stand and walk for shifts, sometimes exceeding 12 hours. Ability to lift trays and other containers of moderate weights, according to training procedures. Ability to work different schedules and attend meeting. Cash Handling Skills. Excellent math skills. Computer skills. High energy and able to work in the heat outside. Able to make recommendations for food and drinks. Good organizational skills and memory.
