Position Overview
As a Bartender at Party Fowl, you’re more than just a drink-slinger — you’re the host of the party. Whether you’re shaking up signature cocktails or recommending the perfect pairing, your energy and personality help create moments guests will remember. You’ll take pride in your craft, build rapport with customers, and bring the fun — because after all, “Party” is in our name.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with enthusiasm and provide an exceptional experience from start to finish.
- Recommend and serve drinks based on customer preferences, menu knowledge, and creative flair.
- Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and consistency.
- Take orders, serve food and beverages at the bar, and ensure guests feel seen and cared for.
- Maintain bar cleanliness, restock supplies, and handle side work with efficiency.
- Check IDs and uphold all alcohol service laws and safety standards.
- Accurately process payments and operate the point-of-sale system.
- Stay current on bar menu items, features, and promotions.
- Help innovate new cocktails and stay sharp on trends.
- Work as part of a fast-paced, high-energy team to keep service smooth and fun.
Requirements
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
- ABC permit or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
- Passion for providing exceptional guest service with a smile.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Reliable, personable, and professional appearance.
- Strong multitasking and communication skills.
- Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol per state law.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
