Bartender Job Description

CONRAD'S Eat Drink Local is looking for a Bartender to add to our team at our Kearney location. We are a fast-paced, high-volume local kitchen and patio. The ideal candidate would have high-volume serving experience with knowledge of craft beer and specialty cocktails.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with servers, cooks, management, and other staff. Previous work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is desired.

Responsibilities Include:

·       Be a Brand Ambassador

·       Prepare bar with special attention to sanitation and order

·       Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude

·       Pour drinks with accuracy

·       Enter orders in POS system

·       Engage with customers in a friendly manner

·       Knowledge of the menu, cocktail/wine list and beer taps with the ability to make suggestions

·       Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems

·       Collect payments from tables

·       Show appreciation to our guests every transaction

·       Assist in bar prep of fresh fruits and fresh juices for cocktails

·       Complete opening and closing duties

·       Follow running side work and end of shift side work

Bartender Requirements:

·       Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment desired

·       A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with other staff

·       Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised

·       Attention to cleanliness and safety

·       Patience and customer-oriented approach

·       Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude

·       Responsible and trustworthy

·       Able to handle money accurately and operate our POS system

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner
