About Party Fowl

Party Fowl isn’t just Nashville’s first full-service hot chicken restaurant — it’s a full-on experience. With a chef-inspired menu, a high-energy vibe, and some of the best hot chicken in the South, we’re serving up more than just food — we’re serving unforgettable moments. Our team is the secret sauce behind every good time, and every role plays a part in making it happen.

Position Overview

As a Bar Back at Party Fowl, you’re the MVP behind the bar — keeping things moving, clean, stocked, and ready so the bartenders can work their magic. You anticipate needs before they arise, bring energy to every shift, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail makes all the difference. You're not just helping keep the drinks flowing — you're helping throw one hell of a party.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the bartender’s right hand — restock, prep, and clean to keep service running smoothly.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, ensuring everything is stocked, clean, and ready to go.
  • Maintain bar inventory: ice, liquor, mixers, glassware, napkins, garnishes, and more.
  • Check and maintain bar equipment — swap kegs, clean taps, and troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Keep the bar area spotless: wipe down surfaces, sweep, mop, empty trash, and clean storage areas.
  • Learn cocktail recipes, beer/wine lists, and menu items to support service and jump in when needed.
  • Help serve guests during peak hours — run drinks, bus tables, open tabs, and process payments.
  • Interact with guests when appropriate — answer questions, solve minor issues, and bring the good vibes.
  • Monitor stock and report low inventory or spills to assist with ordering and inventory tracking.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must meet state minimum age to serve alcohol.
  • ABC card or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
  • Great under pressure, dependable, and team-oriented.
  • Willing and able to lift heavy items, work long shifts on your feet, and handle physical tasks.
  • Available nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic understanding of bar tools, drink components, and customer service.
  • Positive, energetic attitude — we’re here to work hard and have fun.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Join a high-energy, supportive team where no two days are the same.
  • Be part of Nashville’s original hot chicken scene — where we take food (and fun) seriously.
  • Enjoy team discounts, shift meals, and opportunities to grow within the company.
  • You’ll never be bored — and you’ll always be appreciated.
