Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Banquet Staff member to join our team! This position requires a flexible schedule and the opportunity to engage with guests while maintaining high standards of service. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing top-notch hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Interaction:

  • Greet guests warmly and address any questions or concerns.

  • Anticipate guests' needs to ensure a positive and memorable experience.

  • Provide personalized service to enhance the overall banquet atmosphere.

Operational Oversight:

  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of banquet spaces, ensuring tables, chairs, linens, and equipment are arranged according to event specifications.

  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of banquet events to ensure smooth operations.

Food and Beverage Service:

  • Monitor and manage the flow of food and beverage service during events.

  • Ensure proper presentation, timing, and adherence to dietary restrictions and guest preferences.

Quality Control:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation within the banquet area.

  • Perform regular checks to ensure everything is operating smoothly and to the highest standards of service.

Problem-Solving:

  • Quickly identify and address any issues that arise, including guest complaints or operational challenges.

  • Resolve problems with a calm demeanor and effective communication.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse groups of guests.

  • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities to guide staff and oversee operations.

  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and proper etiquette.

  • Effective communication skills for clear coordination with team members and guests.

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.

Additional Requirements:
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and early mornings.

  • Availability to work on some holidays, as needed.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
