 Long Island Care Center has Full-time and Part-time opportunities for a Bakery Counterperson

Our Bakery Counterperson is responsible for creating a welcoming and positive customer experience at the bakery counter, advising customers on baked goods selection, and taking orders

Shift available: 11am-7pm

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience is preferred
• Greet guests and have good communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to stand for several hours

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Greeting residents and families

·         Taking orders

·         Packaging baked goods

·         Ensure items on display are continually restocked

• Check the quality of raw materials to ensure that standards and specifications are met.
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation and performing other duties on request.
• Keeps record of inventory items needed in baking, and consolidates the orders to be placed on a weekly basis

Salary: $19.00 per hour
