Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic / Automotive Service Technician Job Description

• Automotive Technician will perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Automotive Technician will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, suspension, air bag, ABS and climate control systems on import and domestic manufactured vehicles
• Automotive Technician will provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Automotive Technician will inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic / Automotive Service Technician Job Requirements

The following factors are required to be successful as an Automotive Technician:

• A team player who is focused on providing above industry standard customer service
• Must have two years of on the job training
• Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems.
• Automotive Repair and Diagnosis experience required
• Factory Trained or ASE certificationA PLUS
• Hold a valid driver’s license and satisfactory 3-year driving record
• Must possess your own tools
• Good hand eye coordination
