Automotive Parts Clerk

Assure proper control of the parts inventory and assist where needed. 

Essential Duties  

  • Put away stock.
  • Print Chrysler Paperwork.
  • Post B/O (Back Orders) on stock order.
  • Post PNC parts as B/O to reconcile when finished.
  • Print referral invoices.
  • Tag and stage parts for delivery.
  • Cover lunches at Wholesale Parts Counter from 11:30-1:30 daily.
  • Fill in as Retail Parts Specifier when needed. 
  • Input and print MRA’s daily. 
  • Running to other dealerships/shops for pickup or deliveries as needed.
  • Check in and fully process UPS. 
  • Warehouse assist when needed. 
  • Fuller run when needed.   
  • Maintains a professional appearance.
  • Keeps work area clean.
  • Other tasks as assigned

 

Other Information:

·         Working hours are 8:30am – 5:30 pm Monday through Friday with the possibility to change to 7:00 am-4:00 pm after 90 day probationary period. 

·         Lunch is from 1:30 – 2:30 pm Monday, Wednesday through Friday.  Saturday you can take a 30 minute lunch when you have the opportunity.

Mathematical Skills

        Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

        Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

        Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

        Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

        Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
