Assistant Store Manager
As an Assistant Store Manager at Urban Furniture Outlet, you will partner with store manager and ownership to manage the daily operations of the facility. Ensure prompt and thorough problem resolution to ensure customers experience a top quality shopping experience from start to finish. Assistant manager is also responsible for managing staff on duty to ensure staff is on task and held accountable for their daily performance.
General Accountabilities:
Resolve customer complaints regarding sales/service
Review daily sales orders for thoroughness and accuracy, attach purchase orders as needed
Run end of day reports and calculate daily sales, financing, and refund totals as needed
Sales focused, encourage team to meet store goals
Participate in training activities and mentor sales/warehouse team to achieve store goals
Create purchase orders, receive purchase orders, and request credits from vendors as needed
Review delivery manifest/sales orders/Google calendar to ensure proper scheduling of deliveries
Review financing contracts/payments for accuracy and apply financing payments
Manage Inventory manage product supply/demand, make stock adjustments (i.e. as-is to stock, etc) as needed, run inventory checks periodically to ensure accuracy
Ensure safe and clean store environment and help maintain quality service, manage store supplies and order as needed
Manage staff needs, delegate tasks to sales/warehouse team as needed to ensure proper coverage and task completion
Hold staff accountable for daily performance, ensure good time management and task completion
Perform as Manager on Duty when Manager not present, Manager on Duty responsible for staff and store when Manager not present

Qualifications:
At Minimum a H.S. Diploma
1-3 Years Retail Sales and/or Management Experience
Bilingual – Spanish/English Preferred
Previous Furniture Sales Experience Preferred/Not Required
