Assistant Project Manager

CTHX, a specialty contractor that provides top quality service for Cooling Towers and Plate & Frame Heat Exchangers is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team in Hanover, MD!  

This position will be responsible for assisting project managers and their work to help with overall business, scheduling and monitoring to ensure a successful project.

Our ideal candidate will have outstanding organizational skills and confidence in their ability to schedule for our projects. This candidate will have interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.  They will have the ability to prioritize, work well under pressure, and maintain a high level of customer service, responsiveness, and professional business acumen.   

Responsibilities include:

• Manage day to day scheduling for projects, including: material deliveries, delays, job extensions, and workload.
• Review jobs and maintenance contracts daily to assess priority and keep the project moving at pace of job com.
• Interpret location of the job site and manpower availability to assign job to the best location within our company to handle. 

• Prepare closing documentation to include Operation and Maintenance manuals, as-builts, start-up sheets, warrant, and air balance reports to be sent to the clients. 
• Communicate to Administrative team when jobs and service calls are completed and ready to invoice after approval from the Project Manager

Qualifications:

• Capable of making independent decisions, while still maintaining a team-focused mentality
• Excellent computer skills; Word, Excel, Outlook
• Excellent organizational and strong verbal and written skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize workload.
