Assistant Nursing Home Administrator | Licensed in Kentucky
Administrator (ANHA) with an active Kentucky Nursing Home Administrator License. This leadership role supports daily facility operations, oversees key ancillary departments, and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and committed to high‑quality resident care and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Department & Operational Leadership
• Provide oversight and support to ancillary departments, ensuring efficient workflows and consistent service quality.
• Assist the Administrator with daily operations, regulatory readiness, and staff coordination.
• Lead and support the admissions process, ensuring timely communication, accurate documentation, and a positive experience for residents and families.
Compliance, Investigations & Audits
• Conduct reportable investigations in accordance with Kentucky and federal requirements, ensuring timely documentation and follow‑up.
• Perform and support internal audits, compliance reviews, and corrective action planning.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to CMS regulations, state survey expectations, and facility policies.
Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI)
• Coordinate and manage QAPI meetings, including agenda development, data review, tracking action items, and maintaining documentation.
• Partner with department leaders to identify trends, implement improvements, and support ongoing quality initiatives.
Leadership, Communication & Staff Support
• Promote a positive, professional work environment through effective communication and leadership.
• Assist with staff education, performance feedback, and process improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a resource for residents, families, staff, and external partners.
Qualifications
• Active Kentucky Nursing Home Administrator License (required)
• Experience in long‑term care or skilled nursing facility operations preferred
• Strong understanding of state and federal regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience with investigations, audits, admissions, or QAPI processes strongly preferred
