Assistant General Manager
Directly supervises the activities of the front desk department
Responsible
for training new FDSR’s and ongoing training of all FDSRs,
Handles
disciplinary measures when needed
Is
responsible for any and all FDSR shifts that are uncovered due to call-ins,
no-shows, staff shortages, etc.
Prepares
weekly FDSR work schedule in accordance with staffing guidelines
80%
of work week will operate as lead FDSR 7-3 shift
20%
of the work week, will assist GM in supervising Housekeeping department
During
FDSR shift, will perform the following:
Processing
of Direct Bill account invoices
Posting
of payments on Direct Bill accounts
Loading
rates & SRP’s into PMS with assistance from sales department
Handles
all technical issues of PMS system with technical support
Reviews
Night Audit pack for accuracy
Monitors
breakfast supplies & orders breakfast supplies
Handles
all credit card charge backs
During
Housekeeping supervisory role, will perform the following:
Oversee
activities & direction of Head Housekeeper
Does
daily housekeeping room assignments
Schedules
laundry attendant in accordance with staffing guidelines and oversees laundry
department
Assists
GM in preparing Housekeeping schedule in accordance with staffing guidelines
Interacts
with Maintenance department to ensure Housekeeping work orders are completed
and that all rooms are available for rent
Responsible
for Manager’s reception twice a month to ensure consistent Management/guest
interaction
Recommends
new FDSR’s and housekeeping applicants to General Manager for hiring approval
Perform
any and all duties not specifically outlined above that are an inherent part of
the position
Perform and execute any
requests made by corporate or supervisor in a cooperative and expeditious
manner
