The Assistant General Manager (AGM) Assists the General Manager and Front Office Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the rooms division. Assists the Front Office Supervisor in supervising the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments. Assists the Food & Beverage Supervisor in supervising the Food & Beverage Department. Actively interacts with all departments to ensure excellent product quality and service.
- Reports directly to General Manager
- Handles disciplinary measures when needed
- Processing of Direct Bill account invoices
- Posting of payments on Direct Bill accounts
- Loading rates & SRP’s into PMS with assistance from sales department
- Handles all technical issues of PMS system with technical support
- Reviews Night Audit pack for accuracy
- Monitors breakfast supplies & orders breakfast supplies
- Handles all credit card charge backs
- Assists GM in preparing Housekeeping schedule in accordance with staffing guidelines
- Interacts with Maintenance department to ensure Housekeeping work orders are completed and that all rooms are available for rent
- Perform any and all duties not specifically outlined above that are an inherent part of the position. Perform and execute any requests made by corporate or supervisor in a cooperative and expeditious manner.
- You will be responsible for assisting with the overall performance of the property’s operations, including (but not limited to) guest satisfaction, brand quality assurance, budget, and labor.
- You will train fellow associates as it relates to brand and company standards to maximize revenue and reinforce superior service culture.
- You will be responsible for maintaining compliance and remaining up-to-date on new initiatives for the brand and company.
- You will inspect and oversee that safety and security standards are being upheld.
- You will support guest experience and satisfaction in all operations.
- You will work closely with corporate teams in Human Resources, Accounting, Revenue Management, and Sales to ensure that property and company goals are being achieved.
