Assistant General Manager

We are seeking an assistant general manager to assist in leading the team at our new Slim Chickens restaurant on Killian Road in Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the QSR industry, a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences, and the ability to drive operational excellence. Or our ideal candidate is a recent or soon-to-be college graduate in a business or hospitality management program with some experience or understanding of the QSR space. Either way, our ideal leader is one who is humble and hungry to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and food quality.

· Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team.

· Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and standards.

· Drive sales and revenue growth through effective marketing and promotional initiatives.

· Manage inventory, control costs, and optimize profitability.

· Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee development.

Qualifications:

· (Preferred) 3 years of QSR management experience, with a strong focus on leadership and operational excellence.

· Proven ability to drive sales and achieve financial targets.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

· Familiarity with local health and safety regulations.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
