Job Title: Assistant General Manager

Location: Slick City Maple Grove

Job Summary: The Assistant General Manager (AGM) assists the General Manager (GM) in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Slick City Action Park. The AGM ensures that the park operates smoothly, efficiently, and profitably while providing a safe and enjoyable experience for guests of all ages. This role involves managing teams, enhancing guest satisfaction, and achieving the park’s financial, operational, and brand goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Point of Sale experience.
  • Experience in payroll management.
  • Experience in recruitment and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
    • Assist the GM in overseeing daily park operations to ensure everything runs smoothly and according to company policies.
    • Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments, including attractions, food and beverage, retail, and maintenance.
    • Monitor and assist with parties and events.
    • Implement and enforce policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency, safety, and quality standards.
    • Oversee inventory management for attractions, concessions, and retail.
  • Staff Management:
    • Supervise, train, and motivate team members to ensure high performance and exceptional guest service.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
    • Assist in the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and scheduling of new team members.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork and team member engagement.
  • Guest Service:
    • Ensure a high standard of guest service is always maintained.
    • Address and resolve guest escalations and issues promptly and effectively.
    • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the guest experience.
    • Develop and execute guest engagement initiatives and special events to attract and retain visitors.
  • Financial Management:
    • Assist in managing budgets, labor, and performance reports.
    • Monitor and control expenses and labor to ensure budgetary compliance.
    • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability through promotions, events, partnerships, and sales.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including safety and health protocols.
    • Oversee safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe environment for both guests and team members.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and address any identified issues promptly.
  • Job Type:
  • This is a full-time position, and the AGM may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • The role may involve occasional travel for training or business purposes.
