Location: Aegis Health and Rehabilitation – 1441 Charic Drive, Wildwood, MO 63021  

As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will:

·         Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in maintaining quality care standards

·         Supervise Nursing Services round the clock

·         Assume DON responsibilities during their absence

·         Lead and coordinate care plans for each resident

·         Ensure the delivery of passionate quality care

·         Oversee competency testing for nursing personnel

·         Prepare for state inspection surveys

·         Collaborate with department heads for resident care

·         Provide 24-hour "on call" service for emergencies

·         Manage and define goals and roles within the nursing department

·         Build and lead a nursing leadership team

·         Investigate and resolve resident/family complaints

·         Collaborate with the healthcare team to carry out physician orders

Requirements:

·         RN licensed in Missouri

·         5 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred

·         At least 2 years in a nursing supervisory role

·         Current BLS/CPR certification

·         Reliable transportation
