As the Assistant Director of Housing, you’ll help lead our residential programs and support a dedicated team of House Leads and Direct Support Professionals. Your work will ensure quality care, staff development, and strong communication across our housing services.

• Manage and support a team of House Leads and Direct Support Professionals.
• Foster a positive, person-centered, and collaborative environment.
• Ensure compliance with state, county, and local regulations.
  
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and staff training.
  
• Conduct staff meetings, evaluations, and recommend promotions or improvements.
• Advocate for staff and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Coordinate staff schedules and help fill open shifts as needed.
• Prepare reports and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards.
• Maintain communication with families, staff, and community partners.
• Plan and support community outings and activities for individuals served.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or 3-5 years of leadership experience.
• Experience in Special Education or Developmental Disabilities (DD) field, preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Minimum of two years in a management role.
• Critical thinking and initiative-taking abilities.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Completion of Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) training.
• Clear background check and drug test.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License and less than six points on your driving record.
