A well-regarded assisted living facility in Port Orange, FL is seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Administrator to support the daily operations of the community. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong understanding of assisted living regulations, team leadership, and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Executive Director/Administrator in overseeing daily operations of the community.
• Assist with compliance to state regulations, licensing standards, and internal policies.
• Oversee staffing schedules, team performance, and provide leadership to department heads.
• Respond to resident and family concerns with professionalism and follow-through.
• Participate in budgeting, financial reporting, and occupancy planning efforts.
• Help ensure the community maintains a positive reputation with residents, staff, regulators, and the public.
• Coordinate with clinical, dietary, maintenance, and housekeeping teams to maintain high-quality standards of service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of Florida AHCA regulations and assisted living compliance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage staff, resolve conflicts, and uphold high service standards.
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain Assisted Living Core Training certification as required by the state of Florida.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work occasional evenings or weekends, as needed.
