Armed Security Officer – Event Security (Flexible Schedule)

Position Overview:
As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, patrons, and property during events. Schedules are flexible and depend on event needs, making this an excellent opportunity for those seeking non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor event premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules

• Conduct thorough inspections of doors, windows, gates, and other access points to ensure proper security

• Enforce premise rules and regulations, issuing warnings as necessary

• Apprehend or escort individuals engaging in suspicious or criminal activity

• Identify and report facility issues (e.g., fire hazards, water leaks) to management

• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations

• Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter incidents

Requirements:

• Current Tennessee Armed Security Officer license

• Open availability with flexibility for event-based scheduling (nights, weekends, and holidays)

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

• Smartphone with the ability to receive schedule updates and communication

• Minimum 5 years of security experience (military/corrections experience may substitute)

• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness

• Ability to evaluate and assess situations quickly and effectively

• Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures

Preferred Experience:

• Military or correctional facility background

• Previous event or crowd management security experience
