JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Train, coach, and manage sales team to meet company goals and objectives.

 JOB DUTIES:

  • Train Account Managers on all key KPIs(Rotation, OOS, OOD, POS Messaging, display execution, PIITCHER process)
  • Hold assigned Account Managers accountable to execution, goals, and expectations
  • Regularly run Encompass reports to track Account Manager’s progress
  • Update trackers given, save to google drive
  • Lead and assist Account Managers in achieving monthly goals
  • Conduct three ride-withs per Account Manager a month and recap feedback/goals given in a timely manner
  • Communicate monthly evaluations from previous month with Account Managers
  • Conduct daily huddles, set smart goals, and follow up on execution
  • Prepare and conduct weekly team meetings to follow up on key objectives
  • Help organize and facilitate monthly all-in meeting
  • Assist in running sales route, as necessary
  • Set monthly calendar based on monthly focuses and priorities, save to google drive
  • Ensure all Palmentere Brothers standards are adhered to(i.e. Rotation, OOS, OOD, Credits, POS  Messaging, Pricing, Display Execution, PIITCHER process)
  • Conduct cold calls, as necessary
  • Handle any problems and/or tasks given in a timely manner

Required skills:

  • Sales Experience, at least 3 years.  Working with Direct Store Delivery(DSD), preferred.
  • Management Experience, at least 2 years.
  • Self –motivated, reliable, good communication skills, personable, positive attitude and “dressed for success”!
  • Must be able to efficiently work a handheld(phone) and computer(i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Driver)

Physical Requirements:

  • May be asked lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. overhead periodically
  • Squatting, bending, walking for long periods      

Certifications Required:

  • Must be able to pass a Drug Test and Background Check.
  • College degree(i.e. Business, Marketing, Management, etc.) or working towards, preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation

On March 1st, 1994, Kevin & Mark Pereira and Tom Riccardi bought Palmentere Brothers, a well-established name in Kansas City who had been doing business since 1972. Two months prior to the purchase, they learned the business from Joe & Benny Palmentere, serving as his Sales Managers. Once Tom finished school 6 months later, he joined Kevin and Mark. They all agreed to the roles of Tom and Kevin over sales with Mark over financial operations.
