AP/AR Clerk
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for auditing vendor invoice entries, performing collection calls, gathering sales tax exemptions, office tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, processing mail, filing, as well as additional accounting functions.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Auditing Vendor invoice entries
· Customer Invoice Requests and Collection Communications
· Contacting Customer and Gathering Sales Tax Exemptions
· Processing Customer Credit Card Charges
· Customer Account Reconciliation
· Preparing and Sending Customer Statements
· Filing and mailing
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· High school diploma
· 2 Years Work Experience
· Associates in accounting or comparable experience a plus
· Customer Service Experience & Knowledge of Accounting Practices
PREFERRED SKILLS
· Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access (bonus but not required)
· Detail Oriented
· Self-Starter
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· Excellent Grammar and Spelling
