We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Alcohol and Drug Trainee. This is an in person position.

Position Overview: The Alcohol and Drug Trainee will work closely with experienced professionals in the field of substance abuse treatment. This entry-level position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop the skills necessary for a career in addiction counseling and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of substance abuse counseling and support services.
  
• Participate in client assessments and intake processes.
  
• Support the development and implementation of treatment plans.
  
• Conduct educational workshops and group sessions under supervision.
  
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  
• Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  
• Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in substance abuse treatment.
  

Qualifications:

• Alcohol and Drug Trainee (ADT) Certification (required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  
• Strong interest in working in substance abuse treatment and counseling.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  
• Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.
  
• Willingness to undergo training and professional development.
