Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Structures Technician to join our Maintenance team. This role is responsible for performing inspections and providing structural repairs and modifications to aircraft components in accordance with FAA regulations and standards ensuring all work complies with regulatory and manufacturer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of airframe and power plant systems, as well as experience with calibration procedures and precision repair techniques including sheet metal and composite work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
· Perform scheduled, unscheduled and special inspections in compliance with regulatory authorities and industry requirements and standards.
· Fabricate, repair, and modify metal aircraft components and structures using sheet metal techniques.
· Modify and install metal aircraft components based on specifications and engineering drawings.
· Read and interpret aircraft drawings, engineering drawings, and other supplementary documents to ensure accurate modification and repair.
· Performs and troubleshoots structural repairs to airframes, including sheet metal work, riveting, patching, and fiberglass/composite work.
· Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications during all tasks.
· Understands the operation of various airframe and power plant systems.
· Ensures calibration of all shop test equipment is accurate by using calibration records and procedures. Reports discrepancies to supervisors.
· Work closely with other aircraft maintenance personnel, including engineers, mechanics, and avionics technicians, to ensure the overall safety and integrity of the aircraft.
· Accurately document work performed, including parts used, repairs made, and inspections completed.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- Minimum
three (3) years of aviation maintenance required.
- Preferred airframe experience on Gulfstream, Global Express, Falcon 900 EASy, Challenger 350, Citation Sovereign, King Air, and similar aircraft.
- Preferred engine experience on BR710, HTF7000, PW306, TFE-731, PT6

Certifications, Licenses, & Badging
- REQUIRED: Current FAA Airframe Certification

Additional Demands
Must supply all tools necessary to perform basic job functions.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to various weather conditions. The employee may be exposed to loud noise levels in and around their work environment. The physical demands regularly required are to sit for extended periods of time, squat, crawl, climb along with the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Daily interaction with Clients where tact and consideration are mandatory while maintaining a team effort in customer service. Business Jet is an IS-BAO Stage III Certified Operator with FAA Approved SMS/ASAP Programs.
