Valley View Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an Energetic and Highly Driven Admissions Director-RN/LPN to Lead Our Admission Process with Passion and Precision!

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Admissions Nurse to oversee our admissions process. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire admission journey, ensuring a seamless experience for residents and their families. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for healthcare, and the ability to contribute positively to our team. This position also has some potential for management oversight or collaboration with other members in the Admissions Department.

Location: Valley View Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation 

As an Admissions Director & Nurse, you will:

  • Lead the admissions process from initial inquiry to admission to the facility, ensuring a smooth transition for residents and families.
  • Establish, build and maintain connections with referral sources, including via community outings
  • Review referrals for clinical capabilities and appropriateness of admission, being the champion to bridge the clinical and non-clinical team for the residents needs'
  • Evaluate and recommend adjustments to admission practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities with new referral partners and sources, developing sales strategies to increase admissions.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, Administrator, and other department heads as needed to facilitate admissions.
  • Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly census reports to track occupancy and identify trends.
  • Promote and enforce safe work practices, safety rules, and accident prevention procedures within the admissions process.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum of (1) years of experience in a nursing home or acute setting.
  • Knowledgeable about nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines related to long-term care.
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, High school diploma is required at minimum.
  • State of practice RN or LPN license

Pay: $32.00 - $49.00 per hour DOE

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:
