We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Admissions Coordinator to oversee and support the admissions process across multiple skilled nursing facilities within our region. This role is responsible for ensuring census growth, optimizing the admissions process, and building strong relationships with referral sources, hospital case managers, and community partners. The ideal candidate is a dynamic professional with a passion for senior care, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the skilled nursing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Admissions & Census Development:

· Oversee and support the admissions process at multiple skilled nursing facilities, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for residents and families.

· Drive census growth by identifying opportunities, analyzing trends, and developing strategic initiatives to enhance admissions.

· Monitor occupancy rates and collaborate with facility teams to develop strategies for increasing and maintaining census.

· Assist in evaluating and approving potential admissions, ensuring clinical and financial eligibility criteria are met.

Referral & Relationship Management:

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physician groups, case managers, insurance providers, and community organizations.

· Educate referral sources on facility services, specialties, and care capabilities.

· Coordinate marketing efforts and community outreach programs to generate referrals and increase brand awareness.

· Participate in networking events, hospital discharge planning meetings, and other community engagement activities.

Operational & Compliance Support:

· Train and support facility-based admissions coordinators, ensuring best practices and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

· Ensure proper documentation, insurance verification, and financial screening processes are followed.

· Assist facilities with challenging admissions cases, providing guidance and problem-solving support.

· Ensure admissions processes align with federal, state, and company guidelines.

Collaboration & Reporting:

· Work closely with facility administrators, clinical teams, and corporate leadership to ensure smooth admissions operations.

· Track and report key metrics related to census trends, referral sources, and admissions conversion rates.

· Provide recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis and field observations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

· Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare admissions, skilled nursing facility marketing, or a related field. Multi-facility or regional experience preferred.

· Knowledge: Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance verification, and long-term care regulations.

· Skills:

o Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

o Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

o Ability to work independently and manage multiple facilities effectively.

o Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

· Travel: Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
