Administrative Nurse - RN/LPN - Day Shift, Full-Time
Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services (DON):
- Oversees and ensures timely and appropriate care is provided for a specified group of residents for whom the Administrative Nurse - RN/LPN is responsible
- Coordinates the scheduling of caregivers, resident assessments, and monitors and coordinates other healthcare providers for this select group of residents to ensure appropriate care is provided in a dignified and caring manner
Qualifications / Requirements
- Must have an unrestricted and
active Iowa (or compact state) RN or LPN license and up-to-date CPR
certification
- If licensed as an LPN, the Iowa Board of Nursing requires the completion of a
Board-approved supervision course within six (6) months of working in a
supervisory capacity
- Experience in nursing supervision and care coordination preferred
- Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English language
- Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable

Administrative/Office: primary duties include Social Services tasks and assistance with admissions; Floor Charge Nurse: Weekday and Every-Other-Weekend/Holiday Rotation, with On-Call rotation
Shift: Day Shift, Flexible Scheduling; approx. forty (40) hrs/wk
Wage Range*: $27.00/hr-$33.00/hr, Negotiable (DOE)
Base Wage: $27.00/hr (LPN), $30.00/hr (LPN w/ IV certification), $42.00/hr (RN); Negotiable (DOE)
Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.10/per year, up to ten (10) years
Weekend Differential: $2.00/hr
