Risk & Compliance Manager
Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled Risk & Compliance Manager to join our team and assist in the day-to-day operations of our business. The Risk & Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring our organization operates within the bounds of regulations and policies, while safeguarding against potential risks. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and problem-solving skills and be able to adapt to changing business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Progress the renewal process, including assisting with applications, or health insurance, and business policies.
- Ensure property and general liability insurance policies are up-to-date and comply with relevant lender requirements
- Ensure compliance with regulations regarding 401k and health plans
- Coordinate and manage safety resources and protocols
- Manage the licensing and renewal process as assigned
- Ensure clients have the necessary license, permits and insurance
- Monitor changes in regulations
- Develop, implement and maintain compliance policies and procedures
- Conduct investigations into compliance issues
- Maintain documentation of compliance activities, including audits
- Report and administer insurance claims on all policies
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in risk management, compliance, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
