Forest Area Federal Credit Union is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our leadership team, Board of Directors, and staff. This position plays a key role in keeping our organization running smoothly by coordinating schedules, preparing communications, organizing meetings, and supporting important credit union initiatives.

What You’ll DoAs an Administrative Assistant, you will provide professional administrative support while maintaining confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing schedules and coordinating meetings for management, the Board of Directors, and staff

Maintaining the Credit Union’s calendar of events and key activities
-
Planning and assisting with special events such as the Annual Meeting and employee celebrations

Attending meetings and preparing accurate meeting minutes for board, management, and staff meetings
-
Preparing reports, correspondence, and presentations as requested
-
Researching information and compiling data to support leadership decisions
-
Screening, distributing, and responding to incoming correspondence
-
Coordinating follow-up on communications and requests
-
Managing incoming mail and documentation
-
Maintaining project tracking tools and progress updates
-
Organizing and maintaining central files and records
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Successful candidates typically have:

1–3 years of administrative or office support experience

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-
Experience with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and document preparation

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred qualifications include:

A two-year college degree, OR
-
Specialized administrative training or certification, OR
-
Equivalent professional experience.
