Required Skills/Abilities:
• Must be able to communicate (both verbally and in writing) needs of the facility to Directors and Supervisors.
• Must be dependable, cooperative, organized, and be able to work independently.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of records and information received.
• Must be able to work with frequent disruptions throughout the day.
• Ability to flexible to change from one job task to another in a moment’s notice.
• Must maintain good working relationships with staff members and community representatives.
• Must be neat and accurate in his/her work and possess good computer literary skills.
• Must be willing to perform duties and responsibilities that are not necessarily documented in this job description, but that are within the scope of practice of this position.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) to five (5) years of medical office experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic computer systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding strongly preferred
