Schedule: Monday 8:00am-5:00pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:00am-2:00pm; Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (more hours may be available based on work volume)
Pay starts at $15.00 per hour (more based on years of experience)

Job Responsibilities
- Greets everyone who comes in our doors
- Maintains a courteous, friendly and welcoming attitude with residents, visitors, and co-workers
- Assists residents, families and staff members as needed. Notifies the management team of resident, family and staff complaints or questions
- Provides exceptional customer service and a positive first impression with guests and residents
- Answers phone timely and addresses the needs of callers
- Scans and uploads medical documents to resident files
- Maintains confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
- Data entry with excellent accuracy
- Assists the Admissions Coordinator with new admission welcome items
- Schedules interviews and appointments for Human Resources and management staff as needed
- Assists Human Resources with checking references on applicants
- Assists Department Directors with projects as needed
- Orders all office supplies and printer ink and maintains inventory for these items while staying within a monthly budget
- Keeps all personnel and/or resident related matters strictly confidential
- Processes and delivers mail to the appropriate department directors
- Gives tours to prospective residents and families as need, or schedules these tours and adds to calendar for marketing/admissions to complete
- Schedules and participates in meetings as directed
- Creates/prints various information packets and binders (marketing, human resources, admissions, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
- Additional higher level job duties are available after probationary period for motivated candidates who want to learn to do more
Job Qualifications
- Regular attendance is required. This position requires dependability and is key to the organization's success.
- Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred
- Must be self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing environment preferred
- Must have excellent time management skills and be able to work on deadlines
- Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude with residents, visitors, and co-workers at all times
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and typing/data entry experience
Physical and Mental Demands
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 25 pounds regularly/50 pounds rarely.
- Is subject to frequent interruptions.
- Is subject to hostile and/or emotionally upset residents, family members, etc.
- Is subject to a call back during emergency conditions.
- May be exposed to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including TB and the AIDS and Hepatitis B viruses.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
- May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.

Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position in a health care facility that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Working on holidays and during inclement weather will be required. Strict attendance policies will be enforced.
