Administrative Assistant
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. This position will involve a variety of administrative and operational tasks that support the smooth functioning of our showroom and office. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate team member or department
- Open and close the showroom during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and marketing materials to ensure everything is fully stocked
- Organize the showroom and assist in putting away shipments as they arrive
- Coordinate monthly cleaning and landscaping for the showroom to maintain a welcoming and professional environment
- Perform various data entry tasks accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare and send warranty paperwork as needed to maintain accurate records
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks as requested by the owner, VP, or managers
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment
- Prior administrative or office experience is preferred
- Willingness to take on various responsibilities
