This position shall incorporate CT/HX's Vision and Business Strategy by providing "Proactive World Class Service" to the markets served, based on profitability, credibility, Employee Base Environment, Customer Service, and Quality. 

The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in helping everyday operations flowing between Sales, Operations, and Customers. 
This position will be focused and responsible for various accounts receivable functions, accounts payable management, and subcontractor registration/ management 

Essential Functions

  • Communicate regularly with customers via phone, email, or mail as necessary.
  • Assist in job set-up coordination for new projects
  • Send out past-due invoices 
  • maintain and oversee Accounts Payable to ensure we receive invoices from vendors in a timely manner
  • Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • Well-developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Professional telephone skills 
  • Good with planning and organization
  • Proficient with basic software applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • ability to obtain working knowledge of company computer systems including Key2Act and Great Plains 
  • Familiarity with clerical practices, office procedures, and automated equipment
  • Abillity to perform assigned duties with minimal supervision; identify problems and implement or recommend solutions; interpret and apply policies and procedures within limit of authority
