Position Summary:
  • Provides administrative and clerical support for all business functions.
  • Acts as a front-line point of contact for customer service, guests, independent contractors, vendors, and employees.
Essential Functions:
  • Provides clerical support to management and operations, including (but not limited to) answering telephones, copying, faxing, data entry, emailing, and document editing.
  • Screens and greets guests to the building as they come in and route them to their respective areas.
  • Maintains full confidentiality, performing all duties in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Proofreads, types, and sends out documents and/or correspondence to all levels of the business.
  • Orders supplies and UPC labels for office and warehouse monthly, or as needed.
  • Responsible for light housekeeping of the front office including (but not limited to) stocking the coffee station and refrigerator, as well as maintaining their individual work area.
  • Provides support for the recruiting process including (but not limited to) scheduling interviews, greeting interviews, and contacting candidates.
  • Provides support on auditing, reviewing, and processing forms and paperwork.
  • Must maintain confidentiality as it relates to all business functions, knowledge, and activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree or higher in business administration (preferred).
Minimum Experience:
  • 1-3 years of clerical or administrative support in an office or (preferably) warehouse/distribution center setting.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Required Skills:
  • Software: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • General business: Typing, data entry, use of phone/copier/fax.
  • Customer service skills are necessary to communicate with employees, management, guests, independent contractors, and vendors both professionally and effectively.
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment (at times), while maintaining a high attention to detail to accurately achieve daily goals and assignments.
  • Written and verbal communication skills necessary to interpret (sometimes) complex and confidential information.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and act as a resource of knowledge to employees.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
Working Conditions:
  • Approximately 90% of the job will be done at a desk setting in an office and approximately 10% of the job will be spent moving to-and-from (and through) a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
  • Approximately 75%-100% of the time will be spent sitting and <25% will be spent walking, bending, stooping/squatting, reaching, lifting (between 1-20 lbs.), and/or carrying (between 1-20 lbs.).
