Essential Functions

• Provides services under the general supervision of the Occupational Therapist
• Assists with patient assessment and treatment of individual patients and patient groups.
• Assists with patient and family instruction.
• Participates in family and team conferences, and documents services according to departmental and hospital standards.

Qualifications

• Requires basic computer skills.
• Long term acute care and rehabilitation experience is preferred.
• Requires a current state Occupational Therapy Assistant license in accordance with the State Board of Medical Examiners or State Board of Occupational Therapy.
• BLS certification is required upon hire.
