Activity Director

Parkway Health Care Center, a Nursing/Behavioral long-term care facility located in Kansas City Mo, has a challenging opportunity for an experienced Activities Director. We are looking for an energetic, results orientated team leader with superior interpersonal and communication skills to set up and take charge of the Activities department. Successful candidate must be a team player and lead by example in how to create and function in a team environment. This hands-on position will involve the planning, organizing, developing, implementing and directing the activity programs for this facility. The successful candidate will participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of activity plans of care and resident assessment. The director must ensure that an on-going program of activities is available to meet the interests and the physical, mental and psychological well being of each resident.
