We are looking for a compassionate and energetic individual to join our Connections team at Juniper Village at Bucks! This full-time role focuses on enhancing the lives of our Independent Living and Skilled Nursing residents through engaging, creative, and fun programming. We're looking for someone to lead residents in a variety of activities, including crafts, art, games, outings, and other creative experiences. This person will also serve as a friendly, familiar presence that residents look forward to seeing and help support new residents, helping them feel at home by encouraging participation in community events. If you are creative, outgoing, and love working with people, we’d love to have you on our team!
Fulltime-10 am- 6 pm , every other weekend required
MUST HAVE DRIVERS LICENSE
Starting rate: 18.00

Role:
Assists in the creation, planning and implementation of the Connections program - the daily activities for our residents. You will ensure the maximum levels of resident leisure contentment, as well as physical, mental, and psychological well being.
Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of the Connections activity program for the community.
Works closely with Wellness Associates for the implementation of Connections activity programs.
High School Diploma, a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or other related field (Preferred)
Previous experience in healthcare or service related setting (Preferred)
Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
