Glendale Place Nursing and Rehab is right off of I-75 in the heart of Woodlawn. We area seeking an Activities Director to join our team!
Glendale Place Nursing and Rehab, a 122 bed Long Term Care and Rehab facility, has been faithfully serving the Cincinnati community for many years with a history of providing excellent nursing care and successful rehabilitation services. We are currently seeking a Certified Activity Director to join our team full-time. In this position you will plan, organize, develop, and supervise the day to day operation of activity department. We are looking for candidates who are dedicated to serving seniors, are highly energetic and organized, and are compassionate team members that will love working with our residents and staff. Must have past experience in an activity role in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
The primary purpose of your job position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that an ongoing program of activities designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident is maintained.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be a Certified Occupational Therapist, OT Assistant or a Certified Activities Professional.
- Must have 2 years experience in a patient activities program in a healthcare setting.

Pay: $40K-$52K, per year, based on experience.
