Activities Aide, PT/PRN, 1st Shift, Health Center

Position: Activity Aide

Status: Part Time

Shift: 1st shift 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

This position will be scheduled as needed / every other weekend and Tuesday's and Thursdays hours would be 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 

As a Activity Aide, you will support and participate as part of the Activities Department in the planning, coordinating, and providing varied activity programs to the residents. These activities are focused on the individual and group needs, interests, and potentials of the residents. The activities are designed to enhance the functioning and quality of life of the residents and are coordinated with the other services.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Possesses and maintains good physical stamina and mental health
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document services provided
• Is self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision
• Has empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail or impaired
• Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation
