Accounts Receivable Representative (Temporary)

The Accounts Receivable Representative is responsible for the preparation of billing, transmitting data and processing of debits and credits while supporting the accounts receivable manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Accounts receivable billing clerk will be responsible for handling various billing tasks daily.
• Will process internal and external requests for documents.
• Is responsible for logging and scanning daily shipping documents into electronic filing system.
• Handles the matching of invoices to shipping documents and processes debits and credits.
• Performs other duties or assists in special projects as assigned by accounts receivable supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum of 2-4 years of previous accounts receivable experience.
• Previous college experience in accounting is preferred.
• Must have the ability to sort and file numerically.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Should have great attention to detail, accuracy, and speed with inputting information.
• Have a solid understanding of basic arithmetic, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
• Must have experience working with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Able to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Have the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles.
• Must have High School or GED
