The Accounts Receivable Billing clerk is responsible for the preparation of billing, transmitting data and processing of debits and credits while supporting the accounts receivable manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Accounts receivable billing clerk will be responsible for handling various billing tasks daily.
- Will process internal and external requests for documents.
- Is responsible for logging and scanning daily shipping documents into electronic filing system.
- Handles the matching of invoices to shipping documents and processes debits and credits.
- Performs other duties or assists in special projects as assigned by accounts receivable supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of previous accounts receivable experience.
- Previous college experience in accounting is preferred.
- Must have the ability to sort and file numerically.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Should have great attention to detail, accuracy, and speed with inputting information.
- Have a solid understanding of basic arithmetic, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
- Must have experience working with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Able to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Have the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles.
- Must have High School or GED
- A pre-employment drug screening excluding THC is required as a condition of employment.
