**Job Description:**

Cento Fine Foods is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in processing accounts, managing incoming payments, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Process Accounts and Incoming Payments:**

   - Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures during the processing of accounts and incoming payments.

   - Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.

2. **Vendor Billing and Invoicing:**

   - Prepare company bills and invoices in accordance with vendor payment terms.

   - Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.

3. **Reconciliation and Investigation:**

   - Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to guarantee accurate recording of all bills and payments.

   - Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.

4. **Reporting:**

   - Generate detailed reports outlining accounts payable status for effective financial management.

5. **General Bookkeeping and Compliance:**

   - Perform and understand general bookkeeping tasks.

   - Demonstrate comprehension of compliance issues surrounding payable processes, including W-9, sales tax, etc.
